There’s something special about spending an evening together as a family, enjoying the simple things and making memories along the way. We recently headed to Vertuccio Farms Fall Festival in Mesa, AZ, for an evening of relaxing fall fun. This is the 28th Annual Fall Festival, This year’s theme, “Rooted in America, Growing Since 1999,” Vertuccio Farms has been a family-owned East Valley farm since 1979. Today, the farm’s annual Fall Festival welcomes families to enjoy our lovely AZ fall weather outdoors. The festival features a corn maze, pumpkin patch, petting zoo, giant slides, carnival games, playground, mini golf, giant jump pad and many, many other free family-friendly activities.

The Emery family kicked off our family night with my daughter taking a whirl on the tube slide. Little kids to teenagers were enjoying a quick slide down the tube. There is an even a bigger ZOOM slide for the more adventurous! Mom and Dad enjoyed walking around, while our daughter enjoyed all the climbing areas along the way! The new Hen House Hustle was fun -Giant eggs, who can resist? These look like they might come in handy for Easter.....

As the sun went down we decided to make it a real adventure and explore the 5 Acre corn maze as it got dark. Our family can never pass up a good photo stand-in board, so we got some pics before entering the corn maze. My Husband is always prepared and had his handy flashlight to help us navigate the twists and turns of the maze. It was a fun adventure that we thoroughly enjoyed!

Of course, all that exploring worked up an appetite, so we took a break to enjoy some BBQ before heading back out for more fun. There are plenty of food choices from pizza, burgers, chicken strips, even salad options. If you need some coffee or craving a sweet treat, you'll be able to find plenty of options. One thing we loved was all the spacious seating areas throughout the farm! There were so many families with babies and toddlers, and the covered seating areas made it easy to take a break & relax. Plus, there was plenty of room to navigate strollers without feeling crowded, making it a great spot for families with little ones to enjoy an evening of fall fun!
One of our family's favorite parts of the evening was visiting the free petting zoo. We spent a good hour feeding the goats and sheep. It's a great experience for kids of all ages. The adorable baby Highland cows stole the show! For just $5, enjoy a special cuddle session. An unforgettable experience and the perfect photo op! Have you ever pet a camel? At Vertuccio Farms Fall Festival, you can! Our daughter no longer wants a pony, She wants a camel! or a sheep or a goat...."Ummm, We'll see....."

Our family really enjoyed a well needed relaxing, fun and affordable night and look forward to returning to Vertuccio Farms for other seasonal events.
Don't forget to visit the Pumpkin Patch on your way out! Or visit just the pumpkin patch! It's open to the public
There’s still time to enjoy a fun-filled family night before the season ends. The Vertuccio Farms Fall Festival runs through October 31, 2026, so gather the family (and your fur babies) and enjoy your own family night. Find Your Family FUN!
